Norman Frederick Wiss Jr., 93, died on December 25, 2013. He enlisted in the United States Army in October 1942, serving in the Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, and New Orleans, Louisiana. From February 1944 until the end of the World War II, he specialized as a radar repairman of aircraft equipment in the Asiatic-Pacific theatre in Darwin, Australia, and participated in the invasion of Luzon, Philippines.
